Time Changes Worldwide

Every clock change we can compute for the year ahead, soonest first — the local date and time it happens and whether clocks move forward or back. Changes within 30 days are highlighted.

Northern and southern hemispheres

Daylight saving runs roughly March–November north of the equator and October–April south of it. That means the time difference between, say, New York and Sydney swings by two hours across the year: 14 hours in January, 16 in July. Most of Asia and Africa, and all of the tropics, do not observe DST at all.
